The Diggers Rest Residents Association Inc recently received funding from the 2014 Community Benefit Program to establish a township website for Diggers Rest.
The Community Benefit Grant Program provides funding to community groups and organisations to support those leading projects and initiatives with a community benefit. The Collingwood Football Club, through The Club at Caroline Springs has partnered with Melton City Council, to provide grants to community groups within the City of Melton.
Just like Diggers Rest Community Web Links (DiggersRest.com), the new website plans to offer all community groups and businesses the opportunity to be involved.
Residents are being invited to submit an expression of interest to join the Web Management Group.
