Committee presents its final report on Sunbury out of Hume

Last Tuesday evening, the Sunbury out of Hume Community Consultative Committee met with the Minister for Local Government the Hon. Tim Bull, the Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government David Morris MP and with members of the Local Government Panel at Parliament House to present the Committee’s final report.

The release of the report follows the completion of a month long consultation process in which the Sunbury out of Hume Community Consultative Committee conducted nine listening posts and public forums at venues across Hume City Council.

More than 500 local residents attended the nine public sessions to speak with committee members and a total of 124 written feedback responses were received by the Committee. 64% of written feedback was received from Sunbury residents – with 36% of responses coming from residents in other parts of Hume City Council.
