Many residents have welcomed the idea to view proposed development plans at a township meeting expected to take place on Tuesday June 26, 2018.
In conjunction with the Melton City Council, the Diggers Rest Residents Association Inc. will host the meeting which promises to provide an opportunity for residents to inspect current planning applications for Diggers Rest.
According to documentation available, the meeting will allow for residents to “inspect the plans for these proposals” and “get the information to help you decide if you wish to put in a submission”.
It’s unclear whether the meeting will be an open Town Hall style meeting or just a Drop-in format where residents can discuss issues one-on-one with Council officials and stakeholders.
Given the recent community angst regarding some of the proposals, it would be safe to say that we can expect a full house.
