Bloomdale Family Fun Day will take place this Saturday, 4 October 2014, with appearances by AFL stars Joe Daniher and Brent Stanton, live entertainment, mini golf, a Bob Loader jumping castle, and footy clinics hosted by the Diggers Rest Burras.

As well as the talent in attendance, Mayor Cr Bob Turner will be on hand to officially open the new park. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony, adults and children can delight in the musical offerings of Michael Jackson, Elton John and Lady Gaga performed by Club Kenny Trio on centre stage, as well as a special dance performance by Diggers Rest Primary School students.

There will be face painting, fresh coffee and carnival popcorn and fairy floss stands, as well as Bloomdale homebuilder stalls and a marquee where Bloomdale staff will answer questions about the vibrant master planned estate.

After working up a sweat on the newly installed play equipment, or after a hit-out on the custom built table tennis table, families can assist in the fundraising efforts of Diggers Rest Primary School, Diggers Rest 1st Scouts and The Lions Club by purchasing hotdogs, burgers, doughnuts and drinks.

Bloomdale developer Investa Land has sponsored the Bloomdale Family Fun Day and according to General Manager – Vic, Paul O’Brien, the event is intended as a great day out for all the community to enjoy.
