Food for all

A group of Landscape Architecture students at RMIT are in the process of investigating ways in which food production could be increased in urban environments and this semester we are focusing on Diggers Rest.

As food production is directly connected to social networks and we know that there has been some discussion of it within Diggers Rest, we feel it is important to have an insight into the various view points within the community as part of the process.

Towards this end we would like to host a Community forum on Urban Agriculture in Diggers Rest on Saturday the 16th August 2008 from 10am-2pm.

After this meeting we will develop some design ideas which we would also like to present back to interested parties for discussion in early October.
