In early 2018, Melton City Council undertook a review of parking and access around the Supermarket in Glitter Road.
The review indicated the need to provide a footpath along the western side of Glitter Road to create a safe pedestrian connection from Welcome Road to the supermarket.
An independent traffic survey consultant was appointed to conduct a survey of the car parking associated with the supermarket customers.
Based on the survey results, works were completed to formally line mark car parks adjacent to the supermarket and beside the Norm Raven Reserve.
These works included the creation of a disabled car parking space.
Council have recently confirmed that construction of the proposed footpath is expected to be completed this year.
