Next Saturday, (February 23rd) the Lions Club of Diggers Rest will host the annual Town Garage Sale.
The event, which first began in 2010 has always been a popular attraction for hunters and collectors looking to grab a bargain or two.
It’s a real community affair with the Diggers Rest Take Away and the Diggers Rest Fire Brigade getting involved.
This year roughly 25 households will participate eagerly looking to turn unwanted goods into cash.
Maps and item lists can be acquired with a gold coin donation and will be available at the Lion’s Club of Diggers Rest food van on Plumpton Road (next to the CFA) from 8:00am.
All money raised from household registrations will be donated by the Lions Club of Diggers Rest to the Diggers Rest CFA.
