Sights on zero bullying

At some stage in our lives, many of us will experience bullying, whether at school, the workplace or even social settings.

Bullying is primarily defined as a person or group of people repeatedly and intentionally using words or actions to cause distress and harm to another person’s well being.

Last night, the Diggers Rest Primary School hosted a forum on bullying.

The event was facilitated with the help of Zero Bullying Australia, an anti-bullying and cyber-bullying prevention organisation for children which was established in 2013.

Parents eager to learn more about bullying and the impacts associated with bullying helped to make the event successful.

School principal Rachelle Hedger was extremely pleased with the overall performance of the school with regard to bullying and she praised the school community for their excellent record in this space.
