Town puts its pets on parade

It looks as though it’s all going to be happening on Saturday September 23 at the Diggers Rest Recreational Reserve.

Despite the visible “No Dogs” signage, Melton City Council are supporting a new initiative developed by some local residents.

The Pet Show is scheduled to start at 11:00am and conclude at 1:00pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.

Registration is essential if you plan to enlist your family pet.

Best trick, best behaved and best pet and owner look alike competition are among the planned highlights.

With a jam-packed line up, the event promises to offer something for everyone.

These will include, talks on pet care, pet dental care, first-aid for pets and information about adopting a pet.

Milo Cricket, face painting, Bollywood Dance Workshop, other activities for kids and a sausage sizzle (Gold coin donation).
