A commemorative celebration will be held on Thursday, 18th March 2010. Exactly 100 years to the day since the first powered controlled flight in Australia, Diggers Rest will commemorate the occasion with a Commemorative Ceremony. The ceremony will include speeches, the unveiling of a legacy project, flyovers and Houdini Magic displays.
A Melton Air Show will celebrate the Houdini centenary of flight on Saturday, 20th March 2010. On the ground you will be able to walk around beautifully restored aircraft and meet the pilots who fly them, look at vintage and rally cars, while the kids will be entertained with aircraft making and other activities.
